Dekkers Transport is a Dutch company and as such is located in the Mecca of European producers of vehicles for day-old chicks. Yet on the basis of cogent arguments Hans Dekkers, owner of the company, decided to test the features and quality of VEIT vehicles as well. He began with a small VEIT 12 truck for 40 000 day-old chicks. As he became convinced that VEIT with the EcoTransport technology works both reliably and very economically, in 2014 – 2015 Dekkers Transport purchased three semitrailers with a max. capacity of 150 000 day-old chicks and VEIT 26 with a max. capacity of 83 000 chicks. A fourth semitrailer has been ordered for 2016.

Charoen Pokphand Foods, the leading agro-industrial and food conglomerate in the Asia-Pacific region, decided to invest in a modern, high-tech transport solution for day-old chicks and got a fleet of VEIT day-old chicks vehicles. Extremely high temperatures and humidity of this tropical region demand machines with powerful cooling and a highly optimized ventilation system, perfectly safe for the chicks even in this extreme climate. VEIT vehicles have proved that they can do the job with ease.

Two VEIT semitrailers produced in 2008 and 2014 are used by Hungarian transport company S. Cargo Kft, which delivers day-old chicks for Aviagen Kft, part of the Aviagen group. Amongst important activities of modern Austrian poultry company Eiermacher belongs also production of pullets. Originally manual weighing was used to get information about the birds´ weight from over 30 livestock farms spread over a large area. But it proved not to be the right solution as most of the farmers tried to avoid the weighing and supplied wrong or even faked data. That´s why Eiermacher decided for another solution – automatic weighing with BAT2 Full scales equipped by GSM transmission system. By now ca 30 scales have been installed on its farms. Every day, an SMS with daily statistics is sent automatically from each scale. All the SMS are received to a central computer in the central office and converted into various reports and graphs. This is the way how Eiermacher gains fresh and accurate data from all its farms today and is able to react instantly.

Ishii Co., Japanese distributor and chick producer and a part of the extensive Ishii Group, is a future and modern technology oriented company that besides other things imports innovative goods from all over the world to Japan. Ishii Co. has a net of 28 parent stock farms where each of the farms is equipped with minimum one manual poultry scale BAT1. All data gained by weighing are gathered in a collective flock database and used for bird management and comparison of performance. Recently Ishii Co. decided to test also BAT2 Full scales.
